Summary of MailToDoList's Features

MailToDoList is a keyboard-driven Chrome extension that lets you manage your Gmail inbox the way you manage a to-do list.

It displays the contents of your inbox as an expandable/collapsible outline that you can arrange however you want.

It lets you add notes to emails.

It lets you create tasks in your outline.

It provides other typical email client functionality (e.g. compose/​reply/​forward/​archive).

It stores important information (including the structure of your outline, the contents of notes and tasks, and email header information and body snippets) in encrypted form in a Google Cloud Firestore online database managed by MailToDoList's developer (unless you set it to store this information only on your device).

It encrypts that information using AES-GCM 256-bit encryption before it leaves your computer, so the developer cannot read it.

MailToDoList also connects to your Google Contacts address book so that it can help you address emails.

MailToDoList does not track information about emails that you move out of your inbox.
